How the Donation Model Works
Our photography services are open to anyone individually and you do not need to be associated with Lake Brantley Rowing or Lake Brantley High school to book with us. Each of the services we provide has a suggested donation amount listed based on local market values for similar services (already a savings locally if no other incentives were offered.) Donations are 100% tax deductible when payable to Lake Brantley Rowing Association.
For members of the Lake Brantley Rowing Association fundraising credit for individual bookings are broken down into a simple model:
- 20% of each sale is credited to the referring rower’s RFC account. This also applies if you book a session for yourself! (If no referral from an LBRA team member is listed at booking then the credit will apply to LBRA’s general fund.)
- 20% of each sale is donated to LBRA’s general fund.
- 40% of each sale is credited to the Turner’s RFC account.
- 20% of each sale will be held by LBRA in the name of the Turner Family for the 2018-2019 season. If the 2018-2019 board approves new uniforms, 100% of this bucket’s proceeds will be donated by the Turner Family as cash to the team’s New Uniform Fund to reduce the overall expense teamwide. Rowers–the more we earn the easier it will be to make the case for new unis!

Photoshoot Top Questions
How can I book a photo session?
Use the calendar booking tool located beneath each offering on the Photography Services page. Most Saturdays at this point are booked, but feel free to call or email to see if we can work around schedules.
Where will my photos be taken?
We prefer natural light so we will work with you to choose an outdoor location in the Central Florida area (these can also be done at your home)! Orlando has some terrific public outdoor venues so once we know your style we can recommend places to fit your needs.
What should I wear or bring?
Your photos are all about your comfort so it’s best to wear something that fits your personality and individual style. Color, simple patterns and non-shiny materials tend to turn out best. Keep make-up to what you would wear in the daylight and groom facial hair for you “best dressed” style. Props and personal items that help you tell your story are always welcome.
When will I see my photos?
Depending on schedules they may be available for preview in a day or two, and at worse case scenario about a week. Once you choose your favorite(s) we will try our best to get your retouched version(s) back to you in less than 3 days.
Can I use my family session for individual photos as well?
Yes, of course! On our planning call, we will talk about your wishes so we can put a timeline for the session in place to capture the photos you want the most.
Who owns the photos taken of me?
You do! All of our images are rights and usage free. You can print them, share them, edit them…whatever you wish!
Will I get black and white and color photos?
You may request anything you’d like! Typically we shoot and deliver in color, but if we see something that would look great in black and white we’ll try it out and send it over as a free extra. If you specifically want a few black and white photos please let us know at any time.
Do my photos have to be on this website?
Of course not. Just let us know that you’d prefer to have your photos remain private. If you don’t mind us sharing them, we’ll only post the best, edited versions. 🙂
How can I pay?
We accept cash and checks payable to Lake Brantley Rowing Association. Receipts are provided.

Is my payment really tax deductible?

When is payment due?
Payments are in full on or before the date of your session unless we make special arrangements in advance. No deposit is required to hold the date of your session; however, after a first cancellation, a 50% deposit of the rebooked session cost will be necessary.
Will you print my photos?
Since there are so many options for digital photo printing out there we’ve found it is easier for all involved to allow you full rights to print or use your photos however you would like. Below are our favorite vendors that we use ourselves!
